Weekly Network Analytics, July 19 to July 25, 2026: Visits Up 14%

July 29, 2026

The network closed the week ending July 25 with 16.21k visits across 65 sites, up 14.15% on the prior period, and 16.82k page views, up 14.81%. Median page load time across the whole estate was 2,864ms, effectively unchanged at a 0.88% improvement. That combination is the honest summary of the week: more people arrived, nothing meaningful changed about what happened once they did. Page views ran at roughly 1.04 per visit, the same near-parity ratio the network has posted for months, which means almost every session ends on the page it started on. Growth here is arrival growth. It is not depth, and it should not be reported as though it were.

Concentration remains the structural fact worth watching. The top ten properties accounted for 8,640 visits, a little over half the network total, leaving roughly 7,570 visits spread across the remaining 55 sites at an average of about 138 each. That is a healthier distribution than a portfolio of this size usually manages, because it means no single property failing would take the aggregate figure down with it, but it also means the long tail contributes almost nothing individually. Fifty-five sites at 138 visits apiece is not a traffic base. It is a set of live proofs that a domain resolves, renders, and has something on it.

technologies.org held the top position with 1.7k visits, up 21.43%, and 1.72k page views, up 21.99%. Page load time improved 18.49% to 2,103ms, and the Largest Contentful Paint reading is genuinely excellent at 800ms, down 70.54% week on week and comfortably inside the 2.5-second threshold that counts as good field performance. The problem is directly beside it. Cumulative Layout Shift came in at 0.21, up 93.52%, which puts the site squarely in the needs-improvement band after several weeks of sitting near the good boundary. A near-doubling of layout shift alongside a sharp drop in paint time usually points at the same cause: something is now rendering fast enough to reflow the page underneath a reader who has already started looking at it. An image without explicit width and height attributes, a font swap, or a late-injected block will do it. This is the single cheapest fix available in the top ten and it should be closed before the next report.

analysis.org was the week’s biggest traffic story and remains the network’s biggest liability. Visits rose 83.15% to 1.63k and page views 81.32% to 1.65k, putting it within striking distance of the top slot. Page load time improved 57.82% to 7,067ms, which sounds like a triumph until you write the number out. Seven seconds is what the second-most-visited property in the network is asking of a reader before the page is usable. Largest Contentful Paint sits at 4,476ms, down 14.19%, still nearly double the good threshold. Cumulative Layout Shift is 0.36, down 17.16%, still well past the 0.25 line that defines poor. Interaction to Next Paint is fine at 64ms, which tells you the site is not slow because of heavy scripting after load. It is slow getting there in the first place. Halving a bad number is progress. It is not the same as fixing it, and the direction of travel should not be allowed to substitute for the destination.

pho.tography.org took third with 890 visits, up 58.93%, and 890 page views, up 48.33%. Load time was 1,242ms, essentially flat. Largest Contentful Paint at 576ms and Cumulative Layout Shift at a clean zero make this the best-performing property in the network on every field metric that reported, and it is worth stating plainly that a photography site carrying image-heavy pages is beating a text-first analysis site by roughly eight seconds on load. Whatever theme, image pipeline, and caching configuration is running here is the reference implementation. It is also the only site in the top three with meaningful identified mobile traffic, at 170 visits from Chrome Mobile against 420 from desktop Chrome.

Below the top three the reporting goes dark on performance. zgm.org posted 850 visits, up 26.87%, with page views matching exactly. transportational.com took 700 visits, down 5.41%, the only decline anywhere in the top ten and a mild one. 3v.org produced the largest percentage move of the week at 670 visits, up 252.63%, with page views up 268.42% to 700, though a jump of that size off a base near 190 says more about the base than the week. osint.org recorded 590 visits and 730 page views, up 25.53% and 21.67% respectively, and that ratio of 1.24 pages per visit is the highest in the network by a wide margin. It is the one property where readers are demonstrably following a second link. Whatever internal linking or related-content structure exists on that site is doing work nothing else in the portfolio is doing, and it deserves to be copied rather than admired.

opinion.org came in at 570 visits, up 23.91%, against 580 page views, up only 13.73%, meaning arrivals grew nearly twice as fast as consumption. cybersecuritymarket.com more than doubled to 550 visits, up 129.17%, with page views up 107.14% to 580. technologyconference.com closed the list at 490 visits, up 25.64%, and 520 page views, up 23.81%. None of these seven properties returned Core Web Vitals data at all, which is not a performance result but an instrumentation gap. Without field data there is no way to know whether any of them share the layout-shift problem now visible at the top of the table, and a site can be quietly losing readers to a two-second reflow for months without a single number in this report moving.

One caveat runs through the whole week and it belongs at the end rather than buried. The browser breakdowns show unattributed agents doing a great deal of the work. At technologies.org, Unknown accounted for 850 visits against 760 from Chrome, making the largest single traffic category on the network’s largest site one that identifies itself as nothing in particular. At analysis.org the figure was 590 Unknown against 770 Chrome. Some of that is privacy tooling and stripped user-agent strings from legitimate readers. Some of it is not. Where the unattributed share approaches or exceeds identified browser traffic, the growth percentage attached to that site should be read with a discount applied, and the 83% rise at analysis.org is the line in this report most exposed to that correction. Chrome-identified traffic there grew too, which is the reassuring part, but the honest position is that a meaningful slice of this week’s 14% network gain cannot be confirmed as human.

Two actions come out of the week. Close the layout shift at technologies.org, and stop treating seven seconds at analysis.org as an improvement.
